Baroque musicians, take part in this wonderful festival by submitting your application for the fourth edition of Prangins Baroque between April 1st and May 30th. Registration opens on 1 April 2023. Ateliers– six days of baroque music under the direction of an exceptional team of internationally renowned artists.
For whom?

Young professional musicians and advanced students from higher educational institutions playing one of the following instruments:

  • Baroque violin
  • Baroque viola
  • Baroque Cello
  • Baroque double bass
  • Baroque oboe
  • Baroque flute
  • Baroque bassoon
  • Theorbo
  • Harpsichord
can apply. Registration deadline is May 30, 2023 and age limit is 35 years.

When

From 3 to 10 September 2023, in Prangins, Switzerland. The first workshop will start on Sunday morning, September 3, and the last concert will end on Sunday evening, September 10. You commit to be present during this whole period if you are selected.

Cost

Registration is free of charge and, if you are selected, participation in the workshops ateliers is also free of charge. Meals are also provided and accommodation in a host family in Prangins can be arranged (depending on the availability of families).

Registration

The application form will be available on this page from 1 April 2023. In addition to your personal details, you will need to attach a photograph, an up-to-date curriculum vitae and one or more solo pieces by any 18th century composer of your choice, with one slow and one fast movement. You can also send us a recording of an ensemble piece by these composers.
