Four Beers and a Glass of Wine

Passionate about early music, the members of Fours Beers and a Glass of Wine met at the Royal Brussels Conservatory. During their studies, they were able to delve deeply into the so-called scholarly music that is taught there for the most part.

But as time went on, questions began to arise. How could they experience music in a more spontaneous and lively way? And above all, how can we make early music more accessible to a wider audience?

So they turned their attention to the popular music of days gone by. Because in a way, it reaches out to us and touches us directly. It was this profound desire to play traditional/folk music that brought them together.
