Pierre-François Dollé
Chorégraphie et danse
After an academic training at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, Pierre-François Dollé began his professional career in several companies in Germany and England. There he discovered the work of numerous choreographers from the neo-classical, contemporary, jazz and musical theatre scenes.
Back in France, he obtained his State Diploma as a dance teacher. He regularly participates in productions at the Opéra National de Paris such as Les Noces de Figaro and Les Indes Galantes among others. Since 2005, he has specialized in ancient dances and is now a busy choreographer, in France and abroad, whether for opera productions, plays or choreographic shows. He has created shows with the Cracovia Danza company, the Capella de la Torre ensemble, the Courtdance company and the Boston Early Music Festival.
For many years, he has collaborated with Les Arts Florissants for shows, educational projects, dance workshops or balls, notably the 40th anniversary ball of Les Arts Florissants at the Philharmonie de Paris. In 2007, he co-founded the Cie Fantaisies Baroques, of which he is artistic director and choreographer.
Pierre-François Dollé has obtained a research grant from the Centre National de la Danse for research on the dances of the early 17th century, with Christine Bayle, of the First Empire and on the notebooks of Michel St Léon, with Irène Feste.
