Sreten Manojlović
Baryton-basse
Born in Belgrade and completed a Bachelor’s programme for voice at the Universty for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Early into his career, he collaborates with various early music institutions, gaining considerable experience in 18th century repertoire, especially the works of Mozart and Handel. His professional activity has brought him to such theatre and concert stages across Europe as Theater an der Wien, Philharmonie de Paris, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, to name but a few. In this time he came to collaborate with such conductors as William Christie, Arie van Beek, Paul Agnew, Andrea Marchiol, Daniele Agiman, Caspar Richter, as well as stage directors such as Claus Guth, Mariusz Trelinsky and Kateryna Sokolova, with whom in particular he partnered to start the performance collective The Wiry Concord.
