Geneviève Larger

Geneviève Larger joined the Maîtrisienne school in Dijon as a soloist when she was a child, where she discovered early music with the La Fenice ensemble and Judith Pasquier.

She went on to study singing and transverse flute at the Dijon Conservatoire alongside her language studies. She then went on to study the flute at the Ecole Supérieure de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, where she obtained her Bachelor\'s degree and her teaching diploma.

After completing her flute studies, Geneviève Larger worked for a year in the Fanfare and Bagad of the 9th Marine Infantry Brigade. She then went on to study traverso in Besançon, where she worked with the musicians of Les Timbres as well as David Plantier, before taking a Master's degree at Geneva's Haute Ecole de Musique in Serge Saïtta's class.
